You sign in to the store with a Google account only; we never ask for or keep a password. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything done through it on our website.

We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, to harm the website or our customers, or in breach of these terms.

Prices on the website are in Egyptian pounds and are the store’s offer at the moment they are shown. The price is calculated again, by the store’s own system, when the order is confirmed, and what you see at the payment step before you pay is what you pay.

Placing an order is your offer to buy; the contract is formed only when the store confirms the order. We may decline or cancel an order if the product has run out, if its price or description contains an obvious error, or if we cannot deliver to the address given; in that case we tell you and refund in full any amount you paid for that order.

We make every effort to show products, their descriptions and sizes accurately; colours may vary slightly from one screen to another.

Online payment is made through the licensed payment service provider shown at the payment step. You enter your card or wallet details on that provider’s own page: they never reach us and we never keep them. Where the store offers cash on delivery, the option is shown to you when you place the order.

If the payment method you choose carries a service fee, its amount is shown clearly before you confirm the payment.

We deliver orders to the address you give when ordering, ourselves or through a courier we contract with. You are responsible for giving a correct address and phone number so the courier can reach you; the delivery times we announce are estimates.

Exchanges, returns and warranty follow the store’s policies published on this website. In every case, nothing in these terms reduces your rights under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

Trying a frame on your face with the camera is an aid that approximates a frame’s look and size; it is not a medical measurement, and the real appearance may differ slightly from what you see on screen. The privacy policy below explains how we treat the camera picture.

We may change this website, these terms and the privacy policy at any time. A change takes effect when it is published on this page, and every order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, void or unenforceable for any reason, that provision is severed and does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to your right to turn to the Consumer Protection Agency.

We collect only what serving you needs:

• When you sign in with Google: your name, your email address (only when Google confirms it is verified) and your Google account identifier. We have no access to your account’s password, contacts, files or any other data in it.
• The delivery details you type: name, phone number and address (street, city, governorate and postcode).
• Your orders: the products, quantities, prices, the order and delivery status, and the payment result as the payment provider reports it to us (amount, transaction number and status). Your card or wallet details are entered directly on the payment provider’s page and never reach us.
• Your favourites: kept in your browser, and once you sign in, with your account so they follow you to any device.
• Visitors right now: your browser holds a random number that says nothing about you and is deleted when you close the page, so we can count how many visitors are on the site at this moment, without linking it to your account or address.
• Technical logs: like any website, the servers that deliver the site may keep technical records of requests (such as your device’s IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type) to protect and operate the site; they are not used to build a profile of you.

The website asks for the camera only when you press the button to try a frame on your face, and you may refuse. The camera picture is processed inside your browser, on your device, only to place the frame on your face; it is never uploaded to us, recorded or stored, and the camera stops as soon as you close the try-on.

We use your data only to create your account and recognise you when you sign in; to fulfil, deliver and collect payment for your orders; to contact you about your account and orders; for after-sales service, exchanges and returns; to protect the website against fraud and abuse; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, we do not use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles of you, and the website uses no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

When you use “Sign in with Google” we receive from Google only your name, your verified email address and your account identifier, and we use them to create your store account, sign you in, link your orders to you and contact you about them. We do not sell this data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to provide the service to you as this policy describes, or where the law requires it.

ZAROO’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You may remove the store’s access to your account at any time from the permissions page of your Google Account settings.

Your data is seen only by those who need it to serve you:

• The payment provider you choose: the order’s amount and number, and what you enter on its page, to complete the payment or a refund.
• The store or the courier delivering your order: your name, phone number, address and the order to deliver.
• Google: when you sign in with Google, Google knows you signed in to our website, under Google’s own privacy policy.
• The hosting providers and systems the store runs on, only as far as needed to operate it.
• The competent authorities, where the law requires us to.

We use no advertising or analytics cookies — only what the store needs to work:

• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you browse in.
• zntra_basket and zntra_basket_id: what is in your basket, for 30 days.
• zntra_customer: your sign-in session — an encrypted reference that expires after 12 hours and does not contain your Google account data itself.
• zntra_payment: brings you back to the right order during payment, for 2 hours.
• In your browser’s storage: your favourites before you sign in, and the random number for the visitor count (deleted when you close the page).
• On the sign-in page only, Google’s sign-in tool is loaded from Google, which may use its own cookies under its own policy.
• zntra_showroom: remembers the last frame the front page’s stand showed you, so your next visit shows you another; deleted when you close your browser.

We keep order, invoice and payment records for as long as Egyptian commercial and tax laws require. We keep your account data and addresses while your account exists or until you ask us to delete them, except what the law requires us to keep. What is stored in your browser stays there until you delete it or it expires.

Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 you have the right to know what data we hold about you and to obtain a copy of it, to ask us to correct or update it, to ask us to delete it or to stop processing it — except what the law requires us to keep — and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact details on this page and we will answer within the period the law sets. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Center.

The website works over an encrypted connection, your browser holds only an encrypted reference to your session rather than your account data, and access to your data is limited to those who need it to serve you. No system on the internet can guarantee complete security, however, and we will notify you as the law requires if anything affects your data.

We may update this policy when the service or the law changes; the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. If a change is material and affects your data, we will point it out on the website.
